Recent Work

I find the creative process is a form of play. I start with a color of wax that resonates. My encaustic paintings and photography reflect how I the see the world, as essences or abstractions. Encaustic is an ancient fluid medium which involves the melting of beeswax, painting, fusing with heat and then repeating the process multiple times.
